The gate was open

I spent the day at the modern art galleries down at Dean Village.

Andy Warhol and Eduardo Paolozzi. To be honest I can't stand either of them. How can you trust a man who says 'Art is what you can get away with'? Warhol's stuff always strikes me as desperate and random, and Paolozzi's always makes me want to cringe, it is as if he never actually bothered to look at what he was trying to represent.

It was a free exhibition.

I caught the little gallery bus back into town and walked along Regent Road. For once the gate to the Burn's Memorial was unlocked and I was able to get this otherwise unobtainable viewpoint.

I now have a sunburned nose.
