Silly Saturday ....

... silly goslings. And mom and dad. 

Even though we are very busy getting ready for our holiday we still wanted to get out for a while. 

As we were passing Green Pond I saw these cute goslings walking with their parents!  I love the way the male is so involved with raising the goslings .... so sweet. 

The following is a question asked on a real test ... and the answer:
Albert keeps pigs and chickens on his farm. Among them, they have a total of 43 heads and 142 legs. How many pigs and chickens are on the farm?  Answer:  Two total: one pig with 41 heads and 5 legs, and one chicken with 2 heads and 137 legs.

Suffice to say the student failed!
