Alder kitten

Moth trapping time of year again and last night was epic!! As well as this stunningly fresh Alder kitten moth Furcula bicuspis, I also caught a Pine Hawkmoth and a Chocolate tip! I am most certainly not complaining!
The Alder kitten flies in May and June and is locally distributed across the UK. It feeds on Birch as well as Alder, which explains everything!
