Ultra Wide Light

First time out using a new lens that I bought earlier in the year and for some unknown reason was reluctant to use. Probably I didn't want to risk not getting a decent blip! Anyway it turned out to be great fun so I shall enjoy getting to know when, how and why to use it.

Although I took several shots making use of its distorting abilities, I eventually preferred this shot employing a wider angle of view. I like the character of this tree and it feels at home surrounded by a sea of green.

I had difficulties processing to reflect the warm evening sun highlighting the green undergrowth and the base of the tree still seems too bright.
