A day in May

Up to the old gaff to pace the attic. There’s too much old stuff up there that’ll never be used again so I’ve volunteered to categorise it. On a wet day. A few are forecast.
Back to do a bit of gardening - including helping out the neighbour with the machete. They may be unaware of that, of course. But what a poor rhubarb crop - only four jars of rhubarb and ginger. I naively thought that rhubarb was some wonder plant that just grew and grew. I need to up my game. And find some manure.
And then a much overdue trip on the boat! Well, the small inflatable boat. Over to the bigger boat. And very lovely it is too. And dry!
And on the way back the rain came down again.
