Sgwarnog: In the Field

Longhorn

Another of the longhorn moths, I think this one is Nematopogon schwarziellus, although there are a couple of very similar species. It flew across the path as I was walking back across the moor from Sconce and I managed to follow it to where it settled.

A little earlier I stood listening to a Grasshopper Warbler trilling deep in the grass.

I'm back to work for a couple of days from tomorrow, and then on half-term duties at the end of the week.
