No Public in Transport

24 Hours national strike in Public Transport for granting state pension at the age of 66 years! and that shows here at Den Haag´s Central Station.

The workers in Public Transport, but also in many other fields of labour, demand from politics here to bring back the age of getting pension to the age of 66.

I grew up with the knowledge that people get their state pension at the age of 65 and around the milennium change it was quite common for all who could afford that coz of the build up of extra pension funds, to stop work at the age of 61 years (or earlier).

The age of being granted state pension will rise here up till 71 years of age and that for most workers is unacceptable and unmanageable! As politics and employers didn't come to an agreement with the unions half a year ago, the workforce strikes today at last... and I fully agree with them, like most people here do; bring back the age of pension to 66 years at the least!
