Hanging Around

There is a new development in the centre of Aylesbury which is just about completed and gradually opening. It consists of cafes and flats with a small grassy area between it and the current row of cinema and restaurants. As the coffee culture seems to be thriving I suppose it may succeed.

Within the grassy area (Aylesbury now seems to be calling itself a garden city) there are three strange sculptures posed in various physical activities. This one is poised between two poles - not sure why or what it's supposed to be doing. The wet weather provided a bit more interest with a reflection of the figure above. I was passing through on my way to one of the few shops left in the town.

Now back to the computer to catch up on the past activities whilst in the North.
