Last Day of Autumn

Possum Jack’s saying, “the third snow in May will stay,” is upheld this year. There’s no way this lot will melt before tomorrow. Sometimes we don’t get snow in May at all.

The nor’wester continued today, but coming from these mountains it was uncharacteristically chilly.
