Mockingbird Behavior

I went to a favorite garden this morning since the weather was just about perfect.  I expected to find bluebirds, but only spotted a couple.  On the other hand, the Northern Mockingbirds were around, keeping an eye on me.  I thought this one was trying to scare me off, perhaps from a nest, but then he surprised me.  He stopped flapping, and had a red berry or seed in his mouth.  He had regurgitated it, like a magician making a rabbit appear.  I've included the result as an extra.  I'm not sure if it was food in reserve, or a seed to be discarded.  Either way, it was fun to witness.
