An ordinary life....

Reflections...

We had to leave the Boathouse by 10am so just before we left I took some last photos of Loch Tay from the balcony.  The water was so calm and still. Felt sad to be leaving but we've had a wonderful, relaxing few days and we were both looking forward to seeing Alan and Lola.

We stopped off at the Watermill in Aberfeldy for coffee.  The rain was really heavy so we decided to postpone our plan to go back to Fortingall and the Art Studio till later in the summer in hopefully better weather.

A quick stop in Pitlochry to buy Alan a gift then we headed home, only stopping to have a late lunch at Gloagburn.

Alan seemed very happy to see us and says he's had a great week.  Lola arrived back 20 minutes after us having come straight from a walk on the moor with R so she was absolutely soaking wet!  There was no stopping her coming for cuddles though, but it was a wonderful welcome from our very soggy doggy.

We've had a quiet time the rest of the day.  Took me ages to get to sleep last night and was up early so I had a snooze.  David made a lovely dinner of Piri Piri chicken and salad and we watched Graham Norton and Gogglebox.

Weird how we automatically put the tv on this evening yet we didn't switch it on once at the Boathouse.
