I’m Outta Here

Our summer house is very close to a stream, and in this stream there is a small water power station. The walk to my paddling spot takes us right past it, and the paddling spot itself is in the dam upstream. It’s ok for paddling and canoes and small boats, but it’s not safe for swimming. Which is a pity. According to mum. I don’t mind so much.

The sign says Warning! Strong currents. Swimming means Mortal Danger! And I’m not even wearing my life jacket!

Mum! I’m outta here!
