Walk on the Wild Side

After a quiet morning recovering from the excesses of yesterday we had a typically French lunch of bread, cheese and omelette on the patio of the accommodation before being given a lift to the chateau where there was to be a postnuptial BBQ.

Shade was found for sitting, drinking and socialising, the day being another scorcher hitting 32 degrees (89.6 degrees f) again as yesterday.  

The BBQ was served with an excellent salad, watermelon and a selection of cheeses from yesterday's cheese pyramid.  Very nice (needless to say we had the veggie burgers and sausages).

The photograph was taken on the wild bank near the accommodation.  It's apparently a Bee Orchid, difficult to spot but interesting to see.
