Checking shot

Work in progress on the still life, continuing yesterday's work while time has had its own effect on the composition. Thanks so much for all the kind comments, suggestions, stars and hearts for yesterday's composition and edit. I think I actually prefer today's image, see the extra, two of the peonies shed even more petals and lighting the candle and blowing towards it did help to make it all look more dynamic, I think.

I did have time to look at all the AT entries too, thanks so much for your natural and otherwise abstract entries :-) This Thursday it's the first Thursday of June (and the 75th anniversary of D-Day!), first Thursdays of the month mean no theme ! Looking forward to whatever you deem an abstract entry, the tag will be AT206 !
