Blue witches' hats

That's my association with them, these wonderfully blue flowers to me look like the crooked and weird hats you see on illustrations of witches. They are of course delphinium flowers, so named because the heads of the flowers supposedly look like dolphins (which I can't really see). Just goes to show that  we all can see something different in the same shapes :-)

That was what last Thursday's Abstract Challenge was all about too, seeing and finding the abstract in everyday situations, inside or outside, small or big, man-made or in nature. Thanks so much for joining in and doing your best to produce an abstract SOOC/without any outside camera faffing. I felt it as much as you all, my fingers itched to do at least a little fine-tuning ... Happily you can do all the editing and faffing you want again this coming Thursday as we reach the first Thursday of the new month and as usual have a theme-free challenge. The tag will be AT154 !

Here are my 5 picks of the week :

redilady        for a dead log 'au naturel' (I see a face!)
Howu            for an architectural/pattern abstract
soletrader     for watery reflection lines and ripples
60plus           for a wonderful tyre pattern in the sand
richardg        for a spontaneous circle of sand in the sea

Thanks again for all your entries and keep spotting and capturing those abstracts !

And thank you so much for all the kind comments, stars and faves for two days of peony Blips , you are so kind !
