Green and pleasant

As the accounts are on-hold for a few days, I actually spent a few hours working in the 'yard. Not happy at discovering vine-weevil grubs in the pot with a rambling rose. Most of the soil removed and replaced with new compost - just hoping that the rose survives. But it was quite therapeutic to be outside for a while, and the 'yard looks a lot better for it. Lots still to do though...

Dropped Angus and his camera equipment off on Weetwood Moor in the evening, before MrM and I went to Happy Valley for a short walk. The vegetation seems to have gone from Spring to high Summer mode in a very short time this year. It all looks very peaceful in the Blip, but it was incredibly windy - so eye-wateringly unpleasant blowing straight in to our faces that we turned back just after this point.

Back home to lay a couple more rows of floor boards...
