Tiny Tuesday

... is the perfect excuse for another briar rose, this time with a tiny beetle in residence. I think it's an Ischnomera cyanae (identified once I'd realised it was a plain green beetle I was looking for; the orangey patches are rose-pollen).

Had a lovely walk, with a cross-field extension, and without getting wet. We just felt the first few spots on our last leg (and other body parts, too). Now it's raining steadily - which the ground needs desperately - and we're smugly indoors sipping coffee.

Thanks to loisbiz for hosting the Tiny Tuesday challenge this month.
