Floral Firework

I've been trying to get a shot of these alliums since they started blooming, but it's been too windy thus far. I'm not usually attracted to taking photos of flowers, after all what more can be said unless you have a very unusual variety or very creative landscape design.

However, in close up they are more abstracted and it's a viewpoint not usually taken from which the finer details can be observed. These alliums remind me of fireworks exploding in the sky sending out bright sparks of colourful light in all directions.
