Cold Winter 2020/1

Judging by the fact that Angie sent me out this morning to get another three trailer loads, it will be very warm in our house in 18 months.

Comparing yesterday's photo of the pile before I started and today's finished result, seems we took a bit more than the original planned "right of the blue line" marking. The two logs on the right with blue were left there simply because I couldn't pull them out from under the very heavy pile of heavy, wet branches. To cut the logs safely, you need to pull each log clear of the pile first, alone quite a struggle at times with 4-metre lengths.

Logs all unloaded but further work is now on hold as the rain is due soon.
