June

This morning I picked up June (she has recently relinquished her driving licence), we went to our local country Cafe and surprised June with a birthday cake and a bouquet of gorgeous toning flowers.  June is my neighbour and turns 90 on Sunday....she is an amazing lady, sharp as a tack with only her hearing letting her down.  She and her husband (92) still live in their family home with a large garden which they both do...she says working in the garden keeps her going - what a great attitude to have.

Other than that I've been a mechanics apprentice this afternoon!!

Tomorrow we're off to Wellington for a while, purposely incorporating two weekends so we can watch Ella & Harry playing their weekend sports.
