The floodgates have opened

"I think my waters have broken" whispered Nikki as she peered around the bedroom door this morning.

However, with no other signs of labour, we rang the hospital and were asked to pop in for a check up. After calmly eating breakfast and taking our showers we made our way there. Thankfully everything was OK but we've now been given 24 hours for the contractions to start naturally. If that fails, we're booked in for an induction tomorrow morning.

With the clock ticking, we spent the rest of the day wandering through parks, climbing stairs, eating pineapples, massaging pressure points, practising yoga, dancing and devouring the spiciest food known to man. So far... nada.

With any luck, tomorrow's blip will be a photo of our wee man himself.
