Lady’s Slipper Orchid No. 3

But yesterday I was the slipper on some stone steps in York. How easy it is when you are a fit 84 to behave as though you are 34.
Anyway, it was nothing serious. Just limping a bit and I won’t be going up Arnside Knott for a day or two.

But I did manage to hobble into the garden. 24 hours of rain have left everything looking a bit bedraggled. This Cyprepedium, variety Ulla Silkens still has some blooms.
