I drove to West Hallam for the Saturday walk and found there were only three of us... admittedly it was raining, but still! A very pretty walk with loads of very long, very wet grass. 

Unfortunately my boots are beginning to leak and so my socks were damp, I'd better see about getting some more. I've only had them for 1.5 years but I've walked almost 1500 miles in them and they've had some rough treatment. My next pair needs to fit my bigger, left foot better as I've recently lost a toenail - not painfully thank goodness, just sort of gradually.
