Barley Field

We were at a friends daughter’s wedding in Hampshire today and what a great time we had. The weather was a bit unpredictable so there were a few showers but by the afternoon it was sunny. It was held in a barn and was rather unconventional in that the person who we thought was marrying them was certainly a character. In fact they had been married a few days earlier so he was just enacting the ceremony. So the fact he was telling jokes was rather drunk and spilt the rum from a bottle onto the floor and lost his way while reading from his notes was later understandable. There was a ceilidh (Irish dancing ) which was great fun before the conventional evening dancing. I popped out as it was getting near to sunset to look for a blip and found this field where the photographer was also taking ones of the bride a groom. So good to catch up with the brides mother who we hadn’t seen for sometime. A great family day.
