Haarlem

We took a short 35min train-trip to Haarlem today.  We were there once before, for the Christmas markets, so it was nice to go back and see the city without all that going on.  It is a lovely place - definitely somewhere we with plenty going on.  There are many museums, a cat-café (which we visited) and lots of shops and cafes.  There are some wonderful small side-streets which have dainty mews-like houses, where the owners have totally filled the outdoor spaces with greenery and flowers - it was just beautiful. We'll be back for sure.
