Wooden Wall

Lunch out today with some ex work colleagues at a very nice hostelry with interesting decor including this wall made of wood.  I like it.

Sarah and Mary were both very kind to me and Sarah brought me a beautiful rose plant to remind me of Mom.  What a thoughtful idea.  People are so kind.

On a different note, I learnt of the death of one of my first blipfriends yesterday.  She must have died a few weeks ago but it's only over the last few days that I realised that I hadn't seen any blips from her since 7 May.  Very sad when someone dies so unexpectedly.  At least with Mom we had time to adjust and accept.  Kate was a very kind and supportive Blipper and I will miss her photography and comments.  RIP Kate.
