The idyll continues

The blip was taken from the balcony in the shimmering hot afternoon. Today was called "an attack of heat". When we drove back from lunch it was 37 degrees. That was a bit much for outdoor activities, although it didn't stop me and L spending the morning exploring Mystras, a ruined Byzantine city on the side of a mountain near Sparta. I've added an extra, looking down the hill from Mystras.

Lunch was taken in one of a number of taverns all closely nestled together in a village at the base of the mountain. The afternoon, after such activities, was understandably quiet. Later on we ventured out to pick up some honey from the local shop to bring home. Finally, we concluded our last evening in paradise the same way we spent the others, listening to some music on the balcony, and chatting away. Sometimes there are advantages to travelling with a lightweight blue tooth speaker in your bag.
