Beer

Up at 05:30 to get sorted, putting the rubbish out and so forth. Round to Horley to the off-site parking and then to Gatwick. Half an hour queue at the baggage drop and then through security for a latte. Down to the gate, boarded and then 30 minutes on the tarmac before my favourite bit, take-off. Landed in the rain at Dublin and off to find the bus stop. I had 20 minutes to check in at the accommodation and then a coach to City Hall for champagne and speeches and saying hello to friends. Coach back to the digs and time to unpack and charge some electricals. Now out for a walk and just happened on a pub. I've worked hard for this pint (and I need the calories!).

The history bit - this pub was first licensed in 1690 and serves a wicked pint, having come all this way it would be criminal not to have some.
