Blue-green Lacewing

This is the first time I have knowingly seen this beast. The usual lacewing seen in these parts is the common green lacewing but today, I spotted several of these blue-green lacewings - Chrysopa perla.
According to sources on the internet, Fife is about the northern limit of their distribution in the UK but with global warming bringing many other insects further north, this one too may be expanding its range.
