BAD TOLZ...

... on our way, we left Fussen heading to Salzburg.

On the way out we stopped to allow Hayley and Alice another peak of the "fairy castle/s" (in extra) and another super day.

We stopped off at the Village of Bad Tolz which sits adjacent to the Isar River, plus it was market day in the Main Street, a great experience and some interesting sights - a lot of the buildings were a "show piece" as in extra, and many people were dressed in traditional dress (see extra).

The language 'bit" has not really been an issue but noticed here not as much English, or as we have found some are not prepared to talk other than their own lingo even if they can speak English!

Liked the little yellow car turning down the lane (in extra).

After a good break and look around, the boss tried her hand at getting our lunch order across...she succeeded...  in extra. 

We decided on getting off the main roads and spent some time checking out the sights on the minor roads... in extra.

A super day with heaps of experiences, and the girls were rapt when we booked into Salzburg as we had time for a swim in the pool. AND, tomorrow is Sound of Music tour so they are "humming" already.
