Peony Pink

A close-up of the one and only peony flower in our garden which has opened these past few days while it's been raining heavily. I don't want to cut it off and take it inside, but the rain is not very good for the flower and I do wonder if it will survive the downpours intact. In any case I did get up close and captured part of it with the help of a 20 mm extension tube.

Thanks very much for the kind comments and stars for yesterday's accidental keyboard macro :-)
