Today Rosie and I caught the train to Audley End, and then walked in to Saffron Walden, it was quite a long walk but it wasn’t raining for once. A pretty little town with some nice architecture, a bike cafe for cake and tea and then some charity shops to look in. The rain soon caught up with us so we found another cafe for doorstop sandwiches, (their description) which were brilliant. We took our time and did some reading too as it was too wet to walk back to the station along roads without footpaths. We caught the bus back and then the train. Back at our little Studio there was time for cuppas a a couple more episodes of Friday Night Dinner, before it was time to walk Rosie back to catch trains to Bristol. I had a wet wander around the village on the way back.
