Times Square

A very rainy day in New York but it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits.
We headed to Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s etc which mum loved. With the rain and low clouds you couldn’t see the top of the skyscrapers.
Lunch was the oyster bar and cocktails at Grand Central Station, fabulous.
Times Sq is such an assault on the senses but I was pleased to see the rainbow flag flying high. Macy’s windows all have flags as do most of the big stores and banks. With it being World Pride in NY there seems even more flags and merchandise than usual.
Highlight of the day was mum dancing on the Big piano in Macy’s.
Finished the day in Rudy’s bar where you get free hotdogs with your drinks and they have good beer.
