River of Flowers

Thursday: Chilean Guava ...

... Ugni molinae “Flambeau” arrived by post today. It’s another fruiting shrub. I heard about it last week when BBC Gardeners World we’re at Chatsworth Garden Show - the fruit were supposedly a favourite of Queen Victoria.
It rained all last night and all morning, then stopped!! Washing dried outdoors - yipeeeeee!!
Card making turned into a long winded process of problem solving: envelope template I used yesterday was too big for paper in today’s kit, cards were too big for my cellophane bags, card had to be cut - took a while to get used to new paper cutter!! Lots of sorting paper and card so not a total disaster...
Wandered around garden this afternoon, emptied all the water from trays and saucers - it’s pretty chilly again 12°C. We’ve been very lucky compared to much of the country which has been flooded. Heating on this evening :-))
Goodnight all x
