Subtle beauty: Flower Friday

Out of all the flowers I encountered on my walk before supper, this simple thistle caught my eye!

Today, the Swiss women are on strike (en grève). I saw different tea-cloths hanging up in my neighbourhood. It's always about the same things: gender equality, equal pay for the same work done by both women and men. The women are right to make themselves heard. I agree with their feelings of injustice. I did not join the strike, but I empathize. The even was even on the BBC news this morning!
