Steak and Risotto

Strip steak and cream sauce with green peppercorns and brandy, summer squash risotto, and arugula salad. Wine: Andrew Murray Watch Hill Vineyard Syrah 2017.

I usually sauté squash with onions, but it turns out risotto is another use worth putting in my rotation—it made a brighter risotto than what I usually make (next time, I should add some lemon zest to double down on the fresh, bright take).
