Village Day

The theme for Village Day this year was "All at Sea" and there seemed to be jellyfish everywhere in the line of schools and playgroups that paraded down the High Street. It was a happy throng, led by a vintage car (see extra) and enlivened by a steel band on the back of a lorry. On arrival at the field there was plenty to see with over sixty stalls, a Punch and Judy, and even a climbing wall. I stayed long enough to take pictures of the WI stall to put on the website. The table was well stocked, they should do well.
We have had J and M here this afternoon and have had a happy time together. Not least because J encouraged me to buy a new iPad to replace this old faithful which keeps sending up " storage full" messages. I have had it a very long time. So a new one has this evening been ordered and should arrive tomorrow! Watch this space.
