Scattered Polaroids

An early start, and an early train to Ely. Cute town and impressive cathedral, but the main attraction was the proliferation of charity shops. Zigzagged around town to hit them all, both got some bargains, then went for toasted tea cakes in the Almonry.

Caught the train back into Cambridge for another explore. Stopped for a cuppa and some delicious cakes in a little (but very popular) bakery. The drizzle of the morning was definitely heavier in the afternoon, and the city was so busy - the huge swarms of road-blocking tourists reminded me of why Oxford annoyed me.

Did a few loops and looked in a few shops, then bought some food and headed home to eat it. Other than getting tomato sauce all over my brand new jumper (I genuinely only had it on for 30 seconds), had a lovely chilled evening. Carbs, face masks, Netflix, bed.
