Meadow Brown

A cloudy day but warm.  Went for a walk this morning over the common, again so plenty of insects etc.  Had lunch with my son, he has decided to go back home today, it was nice to see him.  Going to a 70th birthday party later to celebrate with a friend I've know since school!
The extra is an unusual colour poppy and don't know what the caterpillars are, any idea?
