The Playhouse

Alan went back to Cardiff today, after a high-stakes game of Articulate. It's been so lovely to have him to stay, and I think it makes him really happy to be part of our big chaotic family Christmas.

This evening Mum, Dad, Rhi & I went to The Mill at Sonning, a little dinner theatre near our house, to see a play called 'Caught in the Net'. It was one of those comedies based on a very tangled web of lies involving a taxi driver named John Leonard Smith and his two wives. I won't spoil it by telling you how it ends, but I will say that from the audience of about 60 people I was the one laughing really, really loudly.
