Too Darn Hot

It was a very hot Monday.  A very hot Monday where I decided to scooter my way home.  I was dripping by the time I got home.  This was the back of my t-shirt after I took my rucksack off.

Needless to say, I was very quickly under the shower.  It is a glorious feeling to shower in almost cold water after being so sweaty.

Scootering through the city was fun - despite the heat - but whoever is in charge of pavements in Wiesbaden has been sleeping at their desk for years.  Mind you, the same can be said for quite a lot of the roads.  In fact, there seems to be a general unspoken agreement that infrastructure is not worthy of proper maintenance - what other reason is there for so many 4x4 tanks being used to go shopping?
