Alliums In The Making

After yesterday's incessant problem-after-problem-after-problem, I was not looking forward to work today.

Imagine then trying to logon this morning just before 8 only to discover that our VPN was out and logging on wasn't possible....  Obviously I kept trying because it was bound to be something stupid on my part. But no.  I couldn't get logged on.  So I gave up after 20 minutes or so.

I had my hopes then that it might last all day.  But they had it fixed by 11.  Still I enjoyed those 3 hours of nothing more than I thought I would.  Went to the bakery to pick up rolls and bread.  Enjoyed the sunshine and just not being at work.  Glorious.

And as I type we have a fantastic thunderstorm passing over and it's pouring with rain.  It's been a good day.
