Dusk

onto reading my second photography book here ( called Dusk to Dawn) and just started a second novel. I decided not to hire a car for my first week here which means its more relaxing and more time to read. 
The swifts seem to be even more active than normal here and have been watching them make faster and faster circuits around this plane tree, which is in the square outside our house. 
The extra is trying out some  'star trails' from the bedroom window. I don't think I can get a wide enough view and really need a wider lens but planning to have a go further afield when I have a car. Also unfortunately the square is well lit up all night which doesn't help.
