Berthe Morisot

It was a bit of a crazy plan to fit in this exhibition this afternoon, in the midst of trying to get organized to leave on Thursday for our holidays and finish up various projects before we go. That said, it was an excellent show. There were lots of paintings from private collections that I'd never seen before and the presentation of the show was very good, with lots of quotations from the great Linda Nochlin in the exhibition text. I was surprised it wasn't more crowded, especially considering it just opened today!

Then, lots of editing followed by a lovely dinner with a colleague from Scotland whom I hadn't seen in a couple years, but we just picked up where we'd left off - it was lots of fun.
