A nearly cloudless sky

Friends from Kent came to visit. We felt smug that Kent was experiencing thunderstorms.  We walked all the way along Scout Scar and down to the cafe at Sizergh Castle (having previously left a car there to get up back). I have not walked all the way before; an achievement to tick off.  This view point shows the Lyth Valley opening up into a flood plain before emptying into Morecambe Bay. The only photo taken during a lot of catching up chatting. Our friends have a buyer for their house in Kent and are hoping to move to the Peak District. Fingers crossed. Another South East family escapes.
