Old Shambles Yard - Yard 6

Exploring Kendal, I found this. I'll add some more when  I've done some research. Apparently it used to be butchers shops but the buillding at the end looks a bit grand.  Some what of a contrast with the new builds behind it
Its confimed, this was the Meat Market /slaughterhouse dating back to 1779. The building at the end was a pub, The Butchers Arms. Shambles means slaughterhouse.  Thanks to Trevor Hughes book on the yards of Kendal.
