The Full Stop

Has anyone else noticed that it is quite common for a family to stop having children, wait a while (5+ years) and then get a dog? Acquisition of a dog seems to mark the acceptance that there will not be any more children. It happens a lot around here anyway.

This is my friend Donna's full stop, Timmy. He is only a pup and Jess had to keep him in his place at times but they got on remarkably well.

Watch out you disbelievers, dog ownership comes to even the most cynical of us after years of nagging from the kids......

However, after two wet and muddy dog walks I've had a hot bath and if I'd been given a onesie for Christmas I'd definitely be in it now :-)
