Sunrise at Newie beach

When I heard it was partly cloudy at the 6 am surf report I thought it might be worthwhile investigating the sunrise.  In fact the clouds were low which do not bode well for a colourful sunrise and while I took some from the ground, I prefer this one I did with Buzz who I put up off Newie beach.  The old fellas were swimming in the baths and I heard one remark that it was cold one end and warm the other.  I suspect his warm would still be below what I would even dip my toe in.  The hounds were then walked at King Edward park and looking back in this direction I saw a light sea mist rolling in and the spume from a couple of whales.  It was magical.
