Cub in Training
This is my last back blip, as I've finally caught up from my trip. Not caught up with processing photos, but at least I've gotten them all downloaded. This was taken early morning, when the lighting was perfect for viewing, but not quite ideal for my camera/lens. Still, I captured the moment and it makes me feel happy to revisit the moment. Two lionesses (with five cubs) had taken down an impala. The cubs got the general idea, but one time we watched them eating less than desirable sections of the animal. They might have learned with a tummy ache. I've also included a photo of a kingfisher, a Brown-hooded version to be exact.
