as things start looming

A day of various stressful moments, as the day of our departure nears. We ended up finding someone to come and take care of our cats while we're gone, and I don't know why I hadn't thought of them before...

A last project to finish before I can relax in preparation for the big event. Talking with the surgeon reassured me as to how he'll proceed (through the back - I wonder how big the scar will be, probably not too big as he'll only be acting on a small zone in the end).

Started packing, almost done. I'm probably forgetting something, but it's not as if I'm going to a desert island...
